1. Introduction
RTD, also Resistance Temperature Detector,or resistive thermal devices, thermal resistance temperature measurement.
2. Principle
The principle is based on the resistance value of a conductor or semiconductor as the temperature changes and changes in the characteristics.
3. Types
Commonly used industrial heat resistance Pt100, Pt1000, Cu50, Cu100.
Platinum RTD temperature measurement range is typically 200-800 degrees Celsius below zero, the thermal resistance of copper minus 40-140 degrees Celsius.
4. Advantages:
- You can also remote electrical signal, high sensitivity, stability, interchangeability and accuracy are better.
- RTD do not need connection wire, and cheaper than thermocouple.
